One of the hardest areas for divers and dive professionals to learn is calculating dive tables. Yet, it's vitally important to be able to properly plan your dives, or you risk getting decompression sickness - also known as "the bends" - a debilitating and even fatal consequence of improper dive planning.

Many divers think that dive computers have replaced dive tables. Although dive computers are incredibly popular for dive planning, they are still a piece of technology that can fail. If your dive computer fails due to a low battery you still must be able to properly plan your dives. Plus many divers rent equipment or can't afford dive computers right away. This is the very reason why when you become a PADI Divemaster or a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor you MUST know how to work dive tables. The Pro Deluxe Package bundle contains everything in both the Diver Package and the Pro Package PLUS you get an entire course on how to use the PADI eRDPml. This is the PADI electronic Recreational Dive Planner multi-level. You will receive step-by-step instructions on how to use the eRDPml and how to apply it to dive planning - especially calculating multi-level dives.
